Empowering the Next Generation Through Education and Community Support
We are thrilled to announce that the Joseph Ogogo Foundation (JOF) is preparing for its Second School Intervention Program in Obanliku Local Government Area (LGA), Cross River State. A continuation of our unwavering commitment to empowering underserved communities through education, health, and social development.
Following the success of our first intervention, which brought much-needed educational materials, mentorship programs, and infrastructural support to selected schools in Obanliku, we are returning stronger, more equipped, and more inspired than ever.
Why Obanliku?
Obanliku LGA is one of the most culturally rich yet underserved regions in Cross River State. Despite the resilience and potential of its youth, many schools in the area face challenges such as inadequate learning materials, dilapidated infrastructure, and limited access to educational enrichment programs.
At the Joseph Ogogo Foundation, we believe that every child deserves quality education, no matter their geographic location or economic background. This second intervention is part of our long-term vision to create sustainable change in the region.
What to Expect in the Second Intervention
This phase of the intervention will focus on selected schools and will include:

- Distribution of essential learning materials (books, writing materials, and backpacks)

- Educational workshops and mentoring sessions

- School renovations and minor infrastructure support

- Health and hygiene awareness campaigns

- Community engagement sessions with teachers, parents, and traditional leaders
We are partnering with local stakeholders, volunteers, and well-meaning individuals to ensure that this intervention reaches the heart of those who need it most.
