REMOVING THE BARRIER: TOTAL TUITION COVERAGE FOR GPS BUKEMANYA
One of the most significant milestones in the foundation’s history occurred earlier this year at Bukemanya Government Primary School. In many rural Nigerian communities, the cost of tuition though seemingly small to some is a mountain too high for families struggling with subsistence farming and economic instability.
Recognizing that financial hardship is the leading cause of school dropouts, the Joseph Ogogo Foundation stepped in to pay the full tuition fees for every pupil in the school. This intervention didn’t just clear ledgers; it cleared a path for hundreds of children to return to their desks without the fear of being sent home. THE OBANLIKU INTERVENTION: SCALING IMPACT
